@jtaran06 yes sir I saw OD raised their rate up to 4% I hope everyone follows.

 

Looks like we're not the only ones, big E needs to get with the program as well.

 

R+L needs follow. I need some 4 day work weeks for a while!!!!

 

No but my friend at OD told me about the top scale wage there now, .71cpm for doubles and .73cpm for triples.

 

They are not looking for that kind of stuff Kao, you can drink whatever you want (coffee, waters, sodas ect), also you can eat while driving too, just be smart about it, don't break out your sub sandwich while going through a work zone, they are looking for cell, texting, bluetooth use, and smoking, following to close stuff like that.

 

On a side note though, drivers are smoking in the trucks, so not really strongly enforced.

 

Don't get discouraged, in LTL you will find that one door will close on you and another will open, I really wanted to work for Estes also but it didn't happen, don't limit yourself and apply for all of them, for the most part the only major difference between any of them is the color of the trucks.

 

Ups freight money now.

Estes should be around there too.


Walmart called me other day. Basically begging for drivers. 85k start. Most guys on here say 90-105k. But they are strick like Saia.

 

71 cpm is not bad at all, but you can keep that camera stuff.

If 16 years without so much as a SCRATCH on equipment isn't enough, I don't know what could be.
