50,000 miles works out to what? 1000ish hours or so? Yeah no. Most everything that comes thru our shop gets OA at 250 hours and at 500 hours, OA and oil/filter change.
Oil is cheap compared to cams.wore out, Dave_in_AZ, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this. -

It used to make its power in the 1350 to 1550 range .
Now it's in the 1150 to 1350 range .
It pulls hills like a mule now and only downshifted 3 times from Omaha to Binghamton ny via 17 across ny with 42k in the trailer running 65 to 67 and no idling it's at 6.4 for the trip so far .
It's been hanging in the mid to high 5s the last couple months until now .
Coolant and oil runs slightly warmer ...that's about it other than no smoke and no cel.wore out, BoostedTeg, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -

I do oil drains at 13-15K miles and I don't care deleted or not. Fresh oil, filters is always great. Tell me one reason of extended oils drains? If you trying to save few bucks then you should sell that truck and work go work for Mega Carriers. Rebuilt costs a lot compared to what you trying to save.
