Did my physical, drug screen, MVR, and got my DPA.

I am going to attend school for 3-4 months depending on which class I get into. There is 2 classes they are doing. One starts in October, the other starts in September. Limited to 8 students per class.

When you apply you have to have all the above turned in to get on the list. I am #17 on the list. From what I was told ususally more than 50% of the applicants don't go.

The school is a state school. Classes are M-F 6:45am to 2:15PM. They don't call you about the class until late September. The woman that handles notifying possible students didn't mention a night class. It is suppossed to be starting in the second week of Sept.

The registrar thinks I will get into one of the classes because of the turn down rate of people that don't have the money or change their mind.

If I get the night class I can work a job while attending.

End of next week is when she is suppossed to start calling people for the night class. They will do it if they get enough students.

I think you might have made a mistake if you need to work while you go to school. I don't know your situation but if you need money you can expect a long dry spell before you start bringing in some bucks.

I would suggest to any new student to bank enough money to live on for two months at a minimum. Maybe more. You have the problem of finding work when you get out of school then you'll train making peanuts. Now that I think of it I'd go five months.
