Oh boo hoo , give me a break, i run my truck at 55-60 and sometimes 65-70+ depending on the schedule . Does not make a road hazard running that slow unless ur blocking traffic in middle lane or something similar. What makes road hazards is guys running 10 over in construction zones, 5 ft off somebodies bumper, cutting in front withing 10ft after u pass me , swerving in ur lane as u passing me , running other trucks off the road all because u got to run faster than everybody to save 20 mins in ur life. Those are road hazards and there is by far and away alot more of them guys out there then there are prime trucks running 58

They are a menace. I’ve come up to right lane traffic jams many times with a Prime truck in the lead. Just wait my turn to get out and pass. Slowing everyone down is frustrating.

I would gurantee u it makes such a micro difference in ur day and overall life , the stress and frustration u guys add by being mad about a truck driving slow is funny to me. Even more funny when that same truck parks next to u at the truck stop for the night , . Oh but u got there 30 mins earlier ! Lol

Prime will be around long after most of the super truckers are wrecked, broke or both. Their cost per mile is most likely 20-30% lower than someone running 70-75. .
Do the math, one cannot run enough extra miles to pay for the additional fuel burn, tire wear, etc out of just the profit money. Not enough months in a year.
For the record, my last few company trucks have been set at 75 mph. 475 3406E, 500 ISX and a 500 DD15 Detroit, to name a few. I know the cost of running hard. Tires for example, will last 50% less.
I have never had a problem with traffic running slower either though. Go to Europe, all the trucks are restricted on speed and they have some of the safest driving.

Focus on the paw print decals - we’ll be stacking the dollars in no time at all.

I don’t get mad. I learned many years ago it’s not worth it. That was not the point of my reply.

The point I was making (my opinion) is that trucks that are going way below the speed limit are a hazard. They create a backup and force people to pass. We’ve all seen it. Trucks and 4wheelers will take chances they normally wouldn’t. Especially on 2 lanes. We’ve all witnessed it. I know you’re going to say “that’s their problem” and that is just a sign of the times. Most only care about themselves.

Many drivers do the same thing. I’m not picking on Prime. I 90 coming out of Chicago toward Wisconsin is one example of many.

I don’t get stressed or angry. I just sigh and wait my turn. It is what it is.

The technical term is called traffic shear... Yes running significantly below the speed of traffic does pose a proven hazard.
(You as a "professional" should know this)
if you're running 55 to 60 miles per hour in a 55 that would be close to the normal flow of traffic... If you're doing 55 to 60 in a 65 or 70 mile per hour(or 75) zone you are definitely a hazard CAUSING traffic shear.
