I currently have a browning antenna on the truck but I feel that I could probably do better. Truck is an FLD 120. I am picking up in Austin Texas on Wednesday heading to the race track in Sebring Florida for the following Monday. Anyone know where I can get a better antenna and what your recommendation would be along I 10 on this course track?

Also I will be in Amarillo Texas tonight and part of the day tomorrow so if there’s any place there I could pick up a skip shooter or something like that if anybody happens to know could you please let me know?

Clays CB Shop is in San Antonio not too far from Austin...They sell the Predator 10K antenna's and could also help you figure out which Predator 10K would work best on your truck, plus they can install it and get it all tuned in for you while your there!

Give'em a call or stop by...

I’d like to stop by but it might be a little bit out-of-the-way. I was hoping to find something over towards Baytown or New Orleans or something like that as I'm heading out of Austin going down to Houston, then east to FLA

Have a couple skips on my volvo now,the problem I find with them is they build up ice in the cold, and seem to get a little squirrelly.

My last volvo I had a browning 28 antenna on it,that antenna out talked what I have now,but I'm just running a cobra 29.

If you ever get out on the 40 in W.Memphis that's where you'll find the skips.

"Any" ant will get squirly with ice build up...Wipe them down with something that leaves a film to slow down the snow n ice build up....With the big predators n such i would grab a can of plasti dip and spray them..Come spring you peel it off..
