It’s been a warm winter so far. Nearly 70* Tuesday, then it started snowing in Charlotte yesterday about noon, but it was to warm to stick.

Hit a little freezing fog around Asheville this morning. I’m parked up in Baxter Tn. I kind of feel bad for the flatbed beside me. First I parked on one side with my reefer, then another reefer parks on the other side of him.

Hanging out in Roland ok. Loading chicken, but it’s not going to be ready until tomorrow night.
Rocks Thanks this. -
I'm still in Cabo Frio.... nothing much going on here... even though it's Carnaval... there will be some floats parading in the city this weekend... but the big exiting and exotic Carnaval happens in the city of Rio and the real real fun Carnaval happens in the city of Salvador and in the city of Recife and the city of Olinda.... all very far away from here...
These are some floats that parade in the city of Salvador during Carnaval... people dance around those big trucks with bands playing on top....
These are typical from Carnaval in Salvador not Rio and not other places...
I wish I were there now...
G13Tomcat, dwells40, 062 and 1 other person Thank this. -
There's nothing big here in Cabo Frio. This is a miniscule float that will be playing little later.... nothing compared to the huge ones in other places.
G13Tomcat, SAR, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Loaded up. I woke up wayyy before my alarm last night so it’s going to be bedtime here shortly.

The driver of that truck with the band on top had to sweat to make those turns in the middle of all that crazy drunk crowd and the vendors pushing carts and vehicles parked on the sides and bicycles and everything else...
Older lady on wheelchair was moving along with the float people...
People everywhere carrying drinks, beer, cooler, huge boom boxes playing very loud music and dancing on the streets and on the beach...
Even though this is "nothing" compared to the Carnaval in the city of Rio or in the city of Salvador and other big cities, it is fun for those who don't want any huge crowds and not interested in huge and expensive Carnaval parades and just want to have some fun with their families and friends and enjoy the beach...
There will be other floats today and tomorrow... Carnaval ends on Tuesday... officially but the fun goes on till weekend.. And everybody returns home and to work in March...
