Just wondering if any owners out there have compared the scaled weights of a utility 4000 DX versus the great Dane Everest TL.
Both manufacturers websites show them to be very light with lots of weight saving technologies, but I can’t find any differences between the two posted anywhere.
Im looking to buy a 53’ dry van with aluminum wheels and aero kit this week for load board work. May have to haul food products depending what’s available. Trying to figure out which of the two is the lightest, I have a pretty heavy T680.
I found a 2015 Wabash with steel’s and aero, but it weights 13,980lbs. That seems really heavy Compared to the summer 12,000 pound advertisements I have seen on great Dane and utility advertisements. But every trailer I’m looking at seems to weigh much more than that so I’m not sure why.
many trailers in the 12k range?
Anyone compare the weight of the newer TL vs 4000DX??
