    Hi,

I was wondering if I have to include any previous trucking companies I’ve worked for in my resume when I apply for a new one, I’ve yet to complete my training period at either one and was just let go today; if I do, will any companies even hire me at this point? I have my CDL, don’t owe anyone anything for it, never hit anything, improved quite a bit from my first attempt and in my opinion I was doing fine, maybe not perfect, but I was getting loads from A to B safely and on time/ahead of schedule.

    Best regards, John

It'll show and you'll not get hired due to lying. Even if it is two weeks you should put it down. Why did they fire you? Safety or preventable accident? Guessing not the latter from your saying never hit anything.

Ah, I wasn’t trying to lie anyway, just wasn’t sure if it mattered; nope I didn’t do anything wrong, all they told me was my trainer said I wasn’t progressing fast enough and that was that, even though I had a few weeks left of training

so basically the mentor didn't think you were progressing fast enough. Yeah, just go with another mega, for your first year, as they're gonna want you going thru that 200 hours anyways. @Chinatown can probably help with some suggestions. Who were you with, and where are you at?

Big M Transportation based out of Blue Mountain, Ms; it started off great, my first trainer was a top notch drive (imo) and enjoyed training people, made everything simple for me and I was doing things such as backing I never could’ve done a few months back, but then he gets pulled out from underneath me and I get stuck with the guy who said I wasn’t doing well enough and he doesn’t even do pre trips or anything for crying out loud lol nor was he very big on the whole “training” thing, you know, his job; I listen pretty well and I understand directions easily, just wish they would’ve given me a little more time, even if it was with that guy

he passed his CDL Test, and is in the mentor/training stage (200 hours typical) with his starter mega. Or rather "was"

List both trucking companies because they will show up on a background. No way to hide it.
    Schneider & Big-M.

Something must be happening here.. isn’t this the same thing that happened with Schneider back around the holidays? Maybe look for a smaller company, these trainers seem to be a problem area for ya.
