Well this thread got off track lets try to get it back on topic.

    Latest Coffee Break chatter.

Its rumored 1 or 2 more tanker companies will be purchased and absorbed.

Also rumored locations are being scouted to build a couple brand new terminals.

Spoke to someone within the southeast and it looks like Heniff and Superior have already moved in together at least at one terminal possibly one other. Last I heard they are working through some issues there. Such as whose in charge since there are now two bosses.
    -Anyone got information on this?

Superior is using Heniff trailers and vice versa. Which seems right since they are all one company now.

My theory is Heniff will adopt the Superior insurance its designed with a bigger company in mind and is a huge moral booster.

Heniff 401k seems to be built to last and more favorable to Heniff than the employees so I bet they will adopt that since they MAY keep the better insurance.

I see the drivers going to percentage pay. Drivers in the long run will like it better and it is the standard across the board. It is also more favorable to the company.

Not sure about events that Heniff held. But Superiosr had rodeos and other events at the terminal. Not sure if Heniff had that family friendly environment. If not I hope they adopt it.

These are rumors and theories and in no way FACTS about Heniff and Superior. So take it with a grain of salt and feel free to add or comment.

They are sharing the terminal in Kingsport TN.

I believe the Superior terminal in Charleston WV is going to be moved over to Nitro and integrated with the Heniff one. That was an lousy setup anyway.

I'm guessing long term that we go to percentage, but it may be a choice for a while.

I pray they keep Superior 401k and benefits package, but am not optimistic.

They're also gonna merge the St Gabriel terminals once ours has been expanded. When that's gonna be I have no idea as they haven't even broken ground.

Basically 900 on the first 1800, and profit share. The profit share brought that up to just over 2,000 total for me last year.

The biggest difference is the fees. I was doing some research and it appears the Heniff 401k has much higher fees than the rest of the industry. They also have low participation, which I believe is due to OO and LP driver's.

I'll stick it out for now and see where it goes. Worst case is I do the minimum in the company 401k and add more to my Roth and personal investment account.
