I have a 2016 Volvo D13. It very rarely regens going down the road, always makes me do a parked regent. Any suggestions?

Before you start doing requested parked regen you need to go in a menu and into a diagnostic sub menu and from there go and look up all the codes that truck will show you, better off taking a pictures of them so you can recall them in a future when someone will ask for them. Also go look at your soot level and take a picture also. Then start your regen take a picture again just to know when it started. When it’s done take a pictures again. And then you can post some of them here or give us the codes in a written form that helps ALOT. Without that info it’s hard to tell unless you want useless info on how to spend your money.

For example, if you have a light load, are in cold weather, or if your truck has been configured for desert operations (extra fan / oversized radiator) it might never reach a high enough exhaust temperature to regen right.
I have a dd15 and I have occasionally chosen to try to drive-out a solid regen light that pops up after a 34 hour reset. It normally takes at least an hour of drive time to resolve. If the light goes to flashing status, I stop and regen so I don't build up enough pressure to break something in the filter system.
