Sounds like somebody is just jealous of the life JB and his lovely wife have made for themselves.

Getting back to our conversation about loads and HOS. I just got my reload assignment here in Riverside. When empty I have to reload in Beaumont Ca and be in Streetsboro Ohio Thursday morning. Based on the 8.5/9 hour deal, I’d deliver on Saturday. Running 3.25 days I’ll be there as scheduled. Point is, as OTR irregular route trucking like we are, that scenario is impossible to follow.

Let’s discuss something else! CA and skirts on trailers. I’ve heard (because y’all know I don’t even leave 460 most days) that we have several or there without skirts. Now, I thought that was illegal. Please, someone, enlighten me in the in/outs. We have a driver in CO right now and was given a load out of there to somewhere in CA but said they couldn’t do it because the trailer doesn’t have skirts. But, if we have trailers out there without them???? Information please! I do like to keep up on current policy just in case I can get back OTR eventually.

I like casinos as long they have tables with the dealer and boss in the pit. Alls well. The machines Ive learned to stay away from. Hence the old Carolinas Poker years before they were finally banned. (A form of crack cocaine to the poor...) But the cash? If I lost x dollars without it affecting eveything else and got a meal plus drink out of it alls well. If I won double or more? Thats enough for that day. Cash out and go home. My last win was something on a flush straight by numbers which paid 300 dollars against a 5.00 bet and part of that was to the CB radio shop. I still have that radio today.
I remember a silence came over the house (Entire casino) when the oppertunity for a royal came up. That was something of once in a life time. If it had come out to be a royal then it would have paid 250,000 out the door. (That money would have been wired.) The dealer had a harder time of it with three bosses watching everything from a few feet away. But the game played clean and it did not come up that way.JohnBoy Thanks this. -
