Dang, Pharm doesn't take much to make you happy. Maybe this will change your repair bill luck. Does sound better than just load boards.

Sounds like a place to put on the DO NOT HAUL TO list. I have some companies on my list...they just aren't worth going to. Perdue sounds like Cargill only worse, hard to imagine that.

Got my load in Denison, IL and headed for Channahon IA 51k. Have a blasted stationary 5th wheel so $50 to move since steers were at 10k and drives at 35k+ Call on delivery times and was told I need an appt. Broker makes ap for 5:28 sweet!!! ... Got back on the road and a driver had slid his tandems but didn't make sure they were secure... Yep slide right out from under... tore up a bridge guardrail they were already working on. 1.5 hrs gone:biggrin_2551:. Rain all the way across IL.:biggrin_2551: 4 wheelers thought it was snow.:biggrin_25516: Get to channahon 45 min late for appt. guy checks for my appt.... gonna try to slide me in with the 20 others there to deliver......nope no appt......hmmm Oh! here it is 5:28pm FRIDAY!:biggrin_25516:
Broker doesn't answer to reset apptfor 6:30 am fri.. I tried to book it but no logon info:biggrin_25510:... Supposed to pick up load in Jackson, WI bound for Nacogdoches, TX... if I have to wait for 5:28pm delivery here I'll never get to my next pick-up...:biggrin_25510::biggrin_25510::biggrin_25510: Trucks doing great, however bobtail was hard on her,,,, broke an exhaust hanger and that allowed the can to rattle to the point that the rusted sleeve section broke loose.. gonna try to slide the can down some more... actually most of the exhaust is flowing up so its not bad until I let the jakes loose:biggrin_2559:

You have to keep me posted on how long it takes you to get out of there. Hopefully eclipse has loads coming out of TX. Hubby always sits a couple days while they try to find a load to get him back out of that furnace. LOL

BTW, those loads have been out there for a while, do they pay decent?

I HAD A ROB MOMENT TODAY!!! I was at a shipper this morning. The place was very busy and only had 2 docks. I had been in one of the docks for a couple of hours because the shipper had to inspect every skid as it was being loaded. There were 3 other trucks waiting to use my dock. Once I was loaded I wanted to get out of the dock as quickly as possible because these other drivers had been waiting patiently for me to get loaded. I got in my truck and remembered I needed to remove a wheel chock. I jumped out of my truck removed the chock and took off. I had my trailer tandems slid all the way to the rear. There was very limited room in the lot due to all these trucks in a small dock area. I was watching my trailer on my drivers side. This place had these large FRED FLINSTONE rocks around their drive-way. As I pulled a way I hit one of them with my right fuel tank. Luckily I missed the rock with my bumper. It did not hurt the fuel tank but,my truck has 2 steps mounted to the fuel tanks and I bent the bottom step. I called Rob after I did this. I wanted him to know we all have bad days in the trucking business not just him and MedicineMan
