Did you buy premixed antifreeze or full strength? If full strength you need to mix 50/50 with water. Also should be low silicate antifreeze.

You don't have to buy it premixed. You can mix it yourself by adding equal amounts of distilled water and full strength antifreeze.

Do I hook up batteries positive to positive ,neg to neg ? Feel silly asking but for the life of me ,I cant ccx remember. There are no batteries hooked up. No clue where he put them . So I need to buy some. I know it takes more than 1. Not sure how many I need. Or how to install them .

That's a round dash, just like my '85. My '72 in avatar had a flat dash, no bump. You can keep the "tattletale" ( speedogragh) as an antique, Peterbilt generally catered to a higher class of driver, one that could be trusted and I saw very few Peterbilts with speedographs. It's a negative ground, meaning, the negative goes to the frame, and the positive to the cable that goes to the starter. No less than 3-12v batteries for a Cummins, all positive to positive and neg to neg. You can buy cables for multiple batteries. They usually go in that step box under the passenger, or drivers door. $2500 is an insult, and would be fully comfortable adding a zero to that number. 359's are hot, trust me. I kick myself for selling mine everyday, almost. Especially when I see one. I was going to make a motorhome out of it, and I still regret not doing that.

Thank you. Batteries always make me nervous. I have been zapped lol also I saw a car burn down once. For such a little square thing , they have ability to let you know you made a huge mistake!
Yes I was very insulted. I have more than that just in the motor he put in. He recently put an n14 in it.
The divers seat is not original. He paid a decent amount for it. It's very comfortable. The passenger seat might be stock. It lacks any comfort ! No arm rests just 2 square cushions. Lol. I learned quickly which pillows to take and where to place them ,when I rode with him. Lol. He put a very expensive cb in it but took it out. A ranger something. We had an arguement over spending that much and not using it lol. So it now sits in my drawer.lol . Such a waste.
Today is the day, I'm buying batteries. Changing all fluids. I am going to drain what fuel is in her. I'm worried since she has sat a bit. Not much in her anyway. I'll put new fuel but not fill her, too many gas cans for that!!!. Then I am turning her over. Crossing fingers shes survived winter ok. Hoping she knows shes loved and will fire right up. The belts look good. If she starts I will jump for joy. Then shes going to peterbilt. They said $125 an hour. Should take an hour. They will go through her. Check brakes etc. Make sure I can get her to her new home. She will appreciate her new garage. Its huge. 2 stories so she fits!
Peterbilt said I might need cdl because she is 3 axle. Bobtail or not. So I have to call dot and ask. Just to be safe. Too far to claim agriculture. But was told to put not for hire on her.
    Wish me luck ! Lol

Oregon is trying to be like cali and outlaw older trucks. Now is the time to get it up there before they start screwing truckers.
