There actually were problems from the Y2K thing. In fact, somewhere in my records, I have several receipts with 1900 dates. Thankfully there were no serious disruptions of critical infrastructure.

 

Well, you've made two accusatory (false in my opinion) comments about the Presidents handling of this situation.

I guess if the mods allow that kind of stuff to go on here then they must agree with you.

There is plenty of things to attack the President on when it comes to ideological differences I just wish the debate could be based in facts.

Ive been shaken a few times enough to know my limits more or less. Nothing outrageous. If it was really bad behavior with politics they would have tossed me and will toss me for sure.

I did not do well with politics because coming from Maryland everything is political its really messy. Has been for a very long time. I see the Arkansas Highways finally replacing bad plates on US67 yesterday and doing a fair job of it, but eventually they are going to have to skip the dinners and balls and come out to play building the new I-57 that has been stalled at Cabot south for a year.

For every sentance I put on to tease politicians there must be 20 I don't dare write. HA.

 

Mine is not doing all that bad right now. I've invested for the long term anyway. I have a great team of advisors that help me. I was looking at my 1099s the other day for my 2019 tax year. I stay amazed!

 

According to THIS WEBSITE based on Death rate extrapolations, there are going to be (from normal flu cases) 63,729 deaths. 100,000 thousand people put in the hospital. According to this NBC News Tweet the current mortality rate is estimated to be .1 to 1 %. This is NOT a pandemic as of today! The recovery rates in China are now almost 60% and a lot of their factories have returned to work. I don't agree with that mortality rate figure, I think it is closer to 6% worldwide, still not a pandemic.

Are people going to get sick? Yes, they are! Are people going to die? Yes, they are! However, it is important to remember that 63,729 figure I just posted. This virus is not anywhere near those numbers yet.

I think many more people will die in 2020 from health problems caused by eating fast foods. Sounds heartless I know, but it is just as heartless as hyping this up and turning it into a political weapon.
