"near Nashville" I am 78mi from TLD. I called safety and left them a message. If they are one of those companies that want you to fill out an application first then I won't be talking to them. I am looking for home daily.

No terminal here. I was specifically asked "do you have a place to park the truck?" I replied, "bobtail, or with trailer?" Answer, "Bobtail." I would be the only driver to start out. More in the future? Possibly. If they got a terminal here I would be 20mi away.

I let my hazmat go. I don't want it back. I still have my doubles/tank. No extra pay for hazmat and you have a target on your back.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

I lasted 90 days with those Lying #######es at Continental Express.

They were hiring me to run Bananas from New Castle DE to Lansing MI, couple loads a week, all sounded good...

After 3 weeks of running short haul ######## loads around Ohio and Kentucky I asked them when we were going to start with the Banana loads, they said "The what?" WTF did you hire me for? Their Reply, what are you talking about.

As far as the 4 weeks paid vacation, it's true, but it's one week a quarter and they tell you when you are taking it. The pay was like $350 per week or so, may have changed this was 2015.

All I can say if you accept the position is good luck! They were doing some shady #### back then... PC to get a load, no PC to go home, etc.

ps - this was the Sydney terminal.

The internet is a small place. I'll keep that under my hat. I have more places to apply to in the next couple of days. If I don't want to work somewhere yet take the job is out of convenience or necessity. Most work is 45mi or more from my home. Home everyday is the goal. It has been that way since 2011.
