I think that's my cue to get off the road.
I'll stick to the East Coast.
The Attorneys, Brokers & "people more important than me" are much better at sniffing out slick spots and ditches.
So I'm more than happy to let them find them for me.
I know I've gotten into situations where I'm like "you need to shut down NOW!" and I won't do things I might have tried 10 years ago now. But sometimes, you still have 20 miles to the next off ramp, 30 to the one that actually has a place to park off it, and you tell yourself, "next time I'll play it short and stop 50 miles ago, but I just need to make the next 10 miles HAPPEN."
Here's what I don't get, at one point in the video, it looks like the cops/first responders were coming from the other side and crossing the median on foot, even while more impacts can be heard. Why didn't they drive ahead to a quarter mile from the last truck and toss some road flares.

When the dust settles some of these so-called drivers might be looking for new jobs. Some of them are definitely going to get fined and more than likely sued!
