Don't just let it go. I know shippers that won't load you with damage across the rivets like that out of fear your trailer might leak. Paper companies in particular are real picky about it. Rock Ten turned me away one night because of damage that looked a lot like that.

Grab that clumsy driver and lasso his insurance into totaling your trailer and buying a new replacement.

Should have never happened. You should have either helped him or hit the air horn as soon as he got close. Way too many truckers minding their own business and staying hidden in their trucks. Now you have to waste time calling safety and maybe taking the trailer to the shop.
