Did anyone find it difficult grasping how to load and unload, (building/maintaining pressure, making sure pump is primed, etc)
it’s only my second day ...and I’m hearing when I get outside and actually TOUCH things that I’ll “get it”....
but I was just wondering if anyone found all the info thrown at you: a little overwhelming at first?
(There’s a little voice inside me that’s saying I’m just overthinking things)
thanks in advance for all valuable feedback
When you first started in cryo, did you find it difficult....

Little voice is right it’s just liquid and always remember rule 1 double block and blow.

Each one was a little different due to various rebuilds.
Had to learn how to follow the plumbing to see what valve did what thing.
The first view inside the bucket box is very overwhelming and knowing why you start with THAT valve Is what you need to get from your trainer...
ask why you start with THAT valve and make sure you understand the answer.
That's the knowledge that will let you 'figure it out'...D.Tibbitt and superpet39 Thank this. -
Sooooooooo appreciate the responses guys.... thanks again

You'll get it over time.
One day as your training the light bulb will go on.
We all had the same overwhelming thoughts.Last edited: Mar 13, 2020

THIS is what I was HOPING to hear!Dennixx Thanks this. -
I’m starting to really get it, if nothing else: I’m not overwhelmed when I open the doghouse!!! LOL
I’m with my trainer next week, but might opt for a few more days after next Friday just to be safe..... a lot of the drivers here came from freight also... many told me: “this will be the easiest job you’ll ever had” LOL -
If he's gonna cut you loose and you don't feel ready just let him know...no problem. -
The light bulb started to go off a couple days ago!!... WISH I would’ve made the jump to cryo 10 years ago......everyone I come into contact with genuinely wants to help you, I also notice you’re looked at/treated a little differently pulling a tanker (dare I say: a little bit more respect??)
maybe I’m still new and looking through rose colored glasses, or maybe my trainer being super thorough, and patient has me feeling some type of way, but I swear this hands down is the best job I’ve ever had... would LOVE to retire from here.Dennixx Thanks this.
