well seems ,you didnt want to anser your phone today rob???????you must have been busy in here and fixing your truck lol:biggrin_25520:hope your loads are going better than the mess you had the other day:biggrin_2557:,rob detention pay should be $75 bucks an hour not 20,,,,,, $20 bucks an hour dont even cover your fuel, but the $75 bucks an hour makes them add up quick and moves there butts cause they dont want to pay that kind of money!!!! $75 x 15 is $1125,that would be a good day but getting them to pay it would be another story in its self:biggrin_2556:,but yet they want to dock you if your late or dont make your appointment time hmmmmm sounds like a screwing to the driver just trying to pay his bills,,,,,they dont realize these trucks dont run on love and good faith

all righty!!!!2am start made it all the way to shrevport la,in 11 hours, getting good mileage, with this old t-600,load is just under 40,ooo and ran 70 mph the better part of 20 but ####,goergia and alabama, had some fog this am ,drivers saying on the radio that they havent seen it that thick in along time, got pretty concerned a couple of times couldnt even see the white line on the side of the road comeing thru the bama hills, but once i got out of bama,it was smooth sailing till about 5 am when the sleepys got to me,an me and another drive started shooting the crap on the raido to wake me up !!!!pulled into a rest stop had a face to face with the driver to get the blood flowing, and checked my load ,and #### had to fix 2 straps, seems even with the cornner guards i split 2 straps, there went 40 bucks ,but had a couple of reservse in the dog box that i had brought with me,,lol:biggrin_25520:(love it when a plan come together ) doubled up omn the corner guards and solved the problem, seems that the scales were closed in ga, and bama but mississippi was open and la, but made it to shevport buy 1 pm and took a long nap whew!!!!!:biggrin_255:,now im at the pilot on 20 exit 33 outside sheavport, and they have redeamed themselves after the feasco i went thru in ill, got laundry done plenty of parking on a saterday, got a shower so the flys will stay away lol,got a bite to eat and smoked and joked with a few drivers, and i was standing there thinking WOW!!!!!! i smell good for a change :biggrin_255:,feeling pretty dapper lol,:biggrin_255:,but gona finish up the run and hammer out the last 200 miles in the am so im ontime find these jokers and then go hide out at a truck stop till monday at 7 am then ill have to take my reset, but i checked the load boards if they cant get me something out of dallas i can find something, heheheh have the resoureses,i dont wait on them ill find a doggone load to get back in the travel lanes to make some bucks but this load paid real good for a last minit load, but lets see what dallas pays lol might be lucke to get $1.05 -$1.20 getting out but gots to keep moveing!!!!!$$$$$$$$:biggrin_25514::biggrin_25511:

thanks med man for the info:biggrin_25514:hope you got your a/c fixed???? $186 bucks in nc ,to fix my clutch ,but learned something, you dont need a puller ,you can use a 5/16 frame bolt to pull the pully off,to get to those little ####### bolts, and did you know you clutch wont cycle if you dont have a good ground and it will burn up the clutch,so make sure they put plenty of lock tight on the bolts,it only takes 30 minits to change the clutch if you carrie the tools with you like i do cause the clutck was only $79 bucks for my truck,i know for next time heheheh or to help a friend in need

    I replaced the whole compressor.

I had a short on the plug at the high pressure switch and it was constantly tripping the clutch. that clutch got so hot I decided to replace the compressor. the seals undoubtably got an extreame amount of heat. The clutch had bee so hot it looked like an old rusty/ heat fatiged exhaust pipe. The whole compressor (which includes the clutch) is only $130 more then just the clutch.
