Sorry I don’t. All I know is when they crank good and act like it wants to start, but won’t. Usually sensors. Very common problem, happened to Me, and a friend of mine. Both Trucks were only a few yrs old. Both times, first thing road call mechanics checked.
-
I’m confused. Is it cranking over? Or not?
-
First off. There is no fuel shut off seliniod on your series 60.
Sounds electrical to me.
When you turn the key to the on position do you get the check/stop engine lights in the dash coming on ??Dino soar, Rideandrepair, spsauerland and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yes it does crank but it does not runDino soar and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
They do not come on, but I don’t think they ever did. The only ones I remember coming on are the air brake light , temp light, oil lightRideandrepair Thanks this. -
The problem is probably the wires to ecm. Should be a hot w/ inline fuse, and a ground to frame. Look for the little wires Coming off battery. Also check that fuse is good.Either a blown fuse, bad connection to battery, most likely bad ground to frame

Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Didn’t get a chance today to work on it, but I did find all the wiring diagrams that I needed. Going to check it out tomorrow
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
If it cranks and won’t start there is a check valve on the line out of the back of head, if it is bad you will lose prime. Start it on either and if picks up fuel and keeps running you can get a valve for less than $100. May need to keep it running on either a few seconds till it picks up fuel.
Dino soar and Rideandrepair Thank this.
