Do you mean strain? As there is the S strain from China and a mutated L strain in Italy. Same virus different strains. But it's why theu're worried.

I had a chance finally to speak to my 67-year-old cousin that has this. "hope it can't spread via phone line" She is doing OK. She is spending most of her time enjoying the peace and quiet and watching old movies. Some minor issues, but her doctor is treating her and she is doing great, so far! I have been reading where some kids are calling Covid 19 Boomer Remover. As a Boomer, I resemble that remark!

 

I'm no Boomer but, thank you to all the gods, I'm no pansy millennial, either. And, I'm sorry but, if peanut butter scares you, you're in no position to tell me what's best for the world.

 

The point behind closing the schools, and other things isnt about the fact that most cases are mild. It's about sharing it with the immune compromised.

My generation (and the one after it) are, for the most part, useless.

 

So...it's about protecting the weak, the very ones that the bug is SUPPOSED to kill off. And don't come back with that "what if it gets someone you love" tripe. My beliefs won't change just because nature is fair and equitable but not necessarily in my favor.
