I’ve been off the road for 5 years, haven’t owned a truck in about 10, but last I new, insurance companies will not insure driving into Mexico! So! No into Mexico

Made a wrong turn in San Diego, and ended up in the border crossing lane.Got close to gate, and had Customs escort me out a back gate onto a main road.

Take it from a born and raised Texan. You do not go down there and go past a 1/2 mile into the border towns unless you know someone who lives down there and can be your guide. Even if you can speak spanish fluently if you do not “belong” down there they will not understand your spanish. Do not take a vehicle. Leave it parked on US side and go across at a POE pedestrian bridge.

Too risky. Just fly over there and to a safe place for tourists. I think our government has a list online of safe places to travel to in Mexico.

We still run down around the border, and drop machines at holding pens (American side) but will never cross border again. I will not vacation in that hell hole either !

It depends on where you go. Even the US has a bunch of hell hole places. I suspect some visit Mexico to have “fun,” if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, our current politics has changed a lot of people.

I just don’t care for Mexico or their political crap, we could buy Mexico cheap fix up and flip for good profit !!! They treat their own people horrible!! They’ve got great resources and could be asset to the rest of the world but chose to be a liability and an eyesore!!! Just my opinion!!!

Do we really need to buy Mexico, though? I’m pretty sure they want in into the United “States.” I mean, some of these guys are risking their lives crossing the border. I suspect some Americans don’t want anything with the “others.”

I have very dear friends that have came here legally and other wise. They just want a better life, but truly they would love it in their own county if they could! Just not happening in current climate down there!
