btw you live in one country and work in other, how this work there? here borders are almost closed, if you cross border you have to go in isolation for 2 weeks. trucks almost dont drive. we have so far 37 cases. some drivers reported even above 30 hours of waiting at border

Idiots. My local Walmart barely had any aspirin. I grabbed one of the last ones today.

This weekend the government advised not to travel abroad, but so far the border is not closed, and I have not noticed anything, other than the fact that there is a less traffic on the roads than usually.

    Specific to my situation:
Where I live, the border situation is so complicated, nobody really knows where all the borders are. As soon as I leave my property I cross a border, no matter which direction I'm going. Borders are criss-cross all over the town and area.
Many small pieces (enclaves) of Belgium inside The Netherlands, even some small pieces of The Netherlands inside the small pieces of Belgium (which again are inside The Netherlands). Hard to explain, maybe the picture makes it easier to understand:

If Belgium or The Netherlands decide to close the borders, I expect that they will close the main border (red line in picture below), not all the small borders of the enclaves. In that case, I can still go to work.

I normally take the blue way to work in the morning, it is shortest/fastest in the morning, but traffic is really bad on way back home, so I take the green route. If red border is closed I have to take the blue way home instead of green.

If they want to close all the little enclave borders as well...... I don't think that is going to happen.
    Why? Look at pictures below.......

    For last picture:
Left is normal picture, right is same building with flag colors to indicate NL and Belgium

Just to show how crazy the border situation is I copied text from a website that this describes this particular case (it is in Dutch, translated):
Baarle-Nassau is Dutch (Netherlands) part, Baarle-Hertog is Belgium

In the center of Baarle there is also a `` vertical border ''

The front door rule in Baarle determines the nationality of the property. If the front door is in the Netherlands, the entire building is considered Dutch.

There used to be a bakery here on the ground floor and an apartment above it that served as a home.

However, after the bakery was finished, the owner has still adjusted the whole, demolished the house and expanded it with four new apartments, two at the front, on top of the shop and two at the existing bakery at the back, which we are now looking at. He initially wanted to do an extension of three Dutch apartments because the rent in the Netherlands is higher than that in Belgium. However, he only got permission for one apartment in Baarle Nassau because the building quota was then full.
That is why he decided to apply for the permit again in Baarle Hertog after changing the plans. He now drew the interior doors of the two other apartments on the small strip of Belgian territory below the building. Baarle Hertog immediately approved those plans. Baarle Nassau was of course not very happy about this and wanted to stick in the wheels by saying that the front door rule was not entirely correct because the front door of the entire building was still in Belgium; this was not possible for the Dutch apartment. That is why the owner made a second door on Dutch territory, right next to the Belgian door. This Dutch front door opens into the same hall as enters through the Belgian front door.

The situation is now that there is a Dutch shop on the ground floor with two Belgian apartments above it. At the back, the situation is as follows; on the ground floor there is a bakery, on the first floor there is a Belgian apartment and on the second floor there is a Dutch apartment. The left front door is in the Netherlands and serves as an entrance for the bakery downstairs and for the apartment on the second floor. The right front door serves as the entrance to the two apartments at the front above the store, and one at the back on the second floor.
