Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

TA Petro has a fancy dancy electrical checking gizmo that can likely identify the source of the fault.
Also, I have received a clean level one inspection with a trailer ABS light on. -

But that doesn't mean there isn't a problem. Just get it checked out. -
The trailer ABS ECU communicates with the truck on the blue wire on the trailer plug and needs a good connection on the ground wire as well. If there are no other light problems with the trailer I would start by cleaning the trailer plug and load testing the blue connector with the ground using a headlight sealed beam for a load. If the circuit can't light a headlight about 5 amps there is probably a connectivity problem. The key will need to be on when you do the test.

Hi,
im also having the same issues as this truck. I also have western star.
Please do provide more help. -
There should be an ABS light at the rear left side of the trailer.
When you turn the key on it should illuminate momentarily then
go out and stay out. If it comes back on and stays on the
problem is most likely in the trailer. If the trailer plug is dirty or
there is a connection issue on the blue wire the trailer ABS
light will come on. Make sure the trailer plug is clean on both
truck and trailer to start.
