Just wondering if anyone has been required to fill out a medical questionnaire pertaining to the Corona Virus in order to deliver/pick up a load? How is this not a violation of HIPAA laws and privacy?

Yeah had to fill out a form at BASF in Mauldin, South Carolina probably about 10-15? No big deal~BASF in Monaca security had a device that took your temperature on the spot. They’re just asking basic questions~not your whole medical history.

US Steel in West Mifflin, PA added some questions concerning nCovid19 to their typical entry test. I'm guessing if you answered yes to any of the nCovid19 questions, you would be denied entry.

Like anyone is gonna be honest about it, anyway.

Thanks for the response. My employer is telling me that if I refuse to answer the questions based on privacy concerns, I will be disciplined. Isn't that a violation of privacy laws?

WelshGuy, it’s not a big deal, I understand what’s going on in the country right now, no one is asking for personal medical history~for example the questions asked was have you been in contact with someone who’s tested positive for the Coronavirus within the last 14 days, have I traveled overseas within the last 14 days they didn’t ask whether I had any preexisting conditions or anything like that.

My driver was refused entry at the doc today at dealing with a emergency on my part And because I was with her I was also refused.

A absolute refusal too. We don't give a #### that your vitals are declining in front of our desk and you are fading out as we speak. Beat it. Scram.

That created a problem. And a new thought for the first time. First I can solve a problem if I can just think.

And second, here I am in a major American City (Small town more like it..) and am a outcast unable to see a doctor. Because my driver had a sniffle a week ago and a cough from the VA like we always do.

And you know what? I carefully consider the idea that the original doctor has lost a patient today. And the associated future income from me.

Not that I mind too much, but the old expectations for a doctor to treat a person who is literally in bad shape and bradying down in front of the staff and to be refused?

    What a hard ###.

Some of the places I've been to ask if I've been out of the country, or do I have any "flu-like" symptoms.

Not really HIPPA material, I think.

    BS!
You don't own any vehicles and don't have any drivers. Is it really possible for you to not lie with every breath?

One of the key points of HIPPA is it only applies to health care professionals. I seriously doubt you would get any traction trying to sue the company for refusing to fill out the form. After all they wouldn't be disciplining you for not filling out the form. They would be disciplining you for not delivering the load...

Just make up your own form and when they hand you their form, hand them your form, I mean you don't want to be around sick people either right? It's a two way street.
