Maryland and Pennsylvania did close the parking for trucks. Trucking companies and the fmsca called. All the rest areas are suppose to be opened for truck parking only. The bathrooms and facilities will be closed.

Again all rest areas in Maryland and Pennsylvania are suppose to be reopen today for trucks to park.

Please put trash in bins and dispose of your pee bottles properly! Show them that we are civilized human beings. Be safe

They should be open now for truck parking.

It was PA and Maryland that closed them.

From what I heard the fmcsa got involved when they tried to close them.

    No vending machines though.

irony of things. FL shut down all the parks, including wilderness preserves. I had booked a couple days here in two weeks to go camping. So I'd have been self isolated. Bam, cancelled. Um, guys, you did want us out of human contact, right? Isn't out in the middle of the woods a good start? lol

You'll spread it to the critters, and that would just be horrible.

My brothers wife was at the store yesterday and some other woman tried to pull a carton of eggs right out of her hands.

People need to calm the hell down. This behavior is embarrassing.

Glad to hear the PA rest areas will reopen for trucks only.
I was worried that the PA DOT wouldn’t have any place to conduct commercial truck inspections... but I see they were able to figured out their dilemma.

When I was active I tried as much as possible to stay out of rest areas. When I did use them I looked for the paper to dry with. I used to go through about 2 or 3 rolls of ---
    [IMG]
I used them for everything, and almost always tried to keep 2 or 3 stuffed in my back pocket. They cost a bit more than the normal white ones, but these lasted much longer and I used them for everything.

This was what I used to dry my hands if I could not find paper. To this day I will use my own to dry with when at places that use those air dryers.
