Demand increases

Have you looked at the non truck driving public lately.
Everybody is fat and overweight.
Even the kids are fat.

Count how many skinny women you see in one day.
You only need one hand.

 

Nah still alot of crap rates . Some cities that PG &E run out of do have decent rates today .

 

The over capacity in trucking will shift quickly into the extra loads available for consumer goods.

That capacity will come from the massive drop in other forms of freight that are bottoming out right now....

Basically, no rates are not going up because the metric crapload of capacity never went anywhere.

If anything more drivers are staying out and away from their families...

 

I've hauled west coast for about 3.50 a mile. Now I'm barely even getting 2.50 from California going north.

 

Reefer loads definitely picked up quite a bit
