Trucking in North America vs around the world

Short version:
Not prepared for the virus.
Even less for the economy shrinking.

 

How often do these journalists give positive view of USA?

 

This is our case 110 people on 4.1million population. This rise can be easly exponentional.
I have a feeling that people in USA are underestimating this.
Italian people and goverment did it too.
chinese are good at discipline, if europe was first on world map with this, we would still trying to figure out how to fix it. key thing to stop spreading is not going to be in contact with other people if you have to, be aware how to protect yourself, dont touch mobile phone or keys or .... without clean hands.
as truck driver you contact lot of people and same individual you were in contact did it with 100s of other truck drivers that day and this is probably place you could catch virus.
younger healthy people might not feel virus at all but it will spread it to other people.



Our health system will collapse under this. More serious countries will too. They started to prepare shelters in front of hospitals as they wont have enough space inside of hospitals. everything is being closed for some time.
regular patients wont be threated due virus patients, at one point there would be so much virus patients doctors will have to decide which to save and which let to die.

whole point of isolation is to prevent it to spread so fast, so this would ease health system due delay of how fast new patient will need hospitals and total amount of them.

seems that poland is doing pretty good job in controling virus.

how much effect this will leave on economy, i think noone can predict this. but it might be lot worst than 2008/9

 

found this, look how slow italy reacted. they are kind of sloppy people, if you see compare how much people died comparing to total with virus or total amount of population and compare it with other countries (germany, france, usa or even spain), of course there are different factors as age of people etc. but you can clearly see something is very wrong with italy.

Lots of people here think it’s a plot to make you know who look bad.....

The health care system here is so F’d there’s no way they will be able to handle it if it gets bad.....I know this because of the wife’s medical problems. All her appointments are canceled.

We we’re going to Mexico for stem cell Transplantation on April 6th that has been put off till May now....

Most nit wits here live week to week they are screwed..... I am very lucky financially so that isn’t much of problem.....Stores are not being restocked so far .

wife is big problem if she gets this she’s probably not gonna make it.... we are hunkered down .

 

awareness here started at 12-13 march, i was at dentist on 12 march and i get next date for xray of one teeth filling on april 1st.
on march 11th they told me on work i wont be able to get my vacation for at least 1 month due amount of work (i was last time in august), 2days latter i did not had any work to do due panic of all people, i work now from home since this week, there is no much of work.

i took all of my money from bank and changed to euro 10days ago.
i would profit currently if i chose USD instead of EUR, but as i expected usa might not take this seriously that USD might be unfavorable choice on few months base.
also i can use euro for some payments, so i would lose money again to change from usd to my currency.
i concidered japanese yen - high discipline or AUD (very closed country with strict entrance control) which both should keep their money stable, but AUD started to drop and YEN is unstable from day to day base (probably due low trade between two of us).

 

It's been like that down here for almost a month.
