I put on new Michelin energy steers about a year and a half ago and they are wearing perfectly, and will replace with the same .
I checked tread depth yesterday and outside tread are at 7/32s and centers at 10/32s .
I normally would pull these tires now but thinking I may run them further ..
    Any thoughts ?

Annually. They go into the old spares pile. (Company driver, I usually have all 10 replaced in october with virgin new tractor set front to back by first snow.

We had a pair of Yoko Steers in FFE run for 210,000 and be ###### if those steers *(And bridgestone drives) were more than half tread left. I would not be afraid to take them one more winter.) Seeing as how the last one was all about ice.

I don't mind tooting my horn on original tires, brakes, clutch etc that far in a year in team. Its at that time probably the best expression of quality ever in my lifetime when it comes to truck equiptment being durable.

Your mostly through winter and you don’t own the trailer to move them to so I’d be running them down as far as your comfortable. Will they give you nothing xtra for the extra tread depth for trade value? But I’ve been known to pull them off for a new set because they didn’t match depth side to side. You know OCD and all?
Who am I to give advice now that I’m thinking about it?
    Lol
    Good luck man.

I had never had michelins fail.

I had a set of them on my old 71 ford and with that hard compound on them they MORE than saved my bacon a few times. I remember them with joy and fondness. But my family? Just a bunch of wasps tearing me down for buying "Fancy 110 dollar tires" when 25 dollar tires will just do good"

The last time I had 20 dollar tires on a old 70 maverick were the little 135 cooper falcons something like 60 R 15's and they lost the whole car in the rain one day almost forced two oncoming vehicles into a head on (And with children in the first one)

Never again. I run like 235's on there from Michelin. Family be ######.

Actually I traded in my michelin drives that were between 5 and 7/32s and got 100 bucks a piece for all but one which was 50 bucks casing credit .
But yeah I'm like you OCD lol and will probably pull them next month .

Run them some more,it’s springtime now. As long as they’re keeping a balance, they’re not old enough for dry rot, meanwhile try to make a deal on new ones, might get some $$ for them on trade.Ive been putting mine on the drives. Getting 2 steers soon. These will go on the drives. Sometime before next winter, I’ll buy 8 drives. Meanwhile I’ll run these out another 80 k

I'd run them a little further, but then again with people losing their #### tires might get a little more expensive.
