I usually find a nice spot in a business area to park and sleep, truck stops are so overrated.
-
Neither of those bother me.
Going to have noise in a truckstop regardless of what's around you. If not a reefer, then an idling truck, APU, or trucks driving through the lot.
As for livestock trailers, I generally only smell them when out of the truck. Windows closed and air vents on recirculation so hardly get the smell of them in the truck. Otherwise those smells aren't any different from smelling exhaust from idling trucks/APUs/Reefers or the smell of peoples urine poured all over the lot. -

Reefers running never bothered me, kinda lulled me to sleep, of course I pulled one so maybe that's why...[/QUOTE]
I pulled reefers for my first year driving I slept better when it was running than I did emptyclausland Thanks this. -
Straight pipes and angled parking. So they are right next to my sleeper. Have had to pull forward so they weren’t two feet away from my bunk.

How about you stop complaining until you stop eating meat and reefer products.
Isafarmboy and bzinger Thank this. -
