And fingerprint every last one of those???
No thank you. That’s too much like work.
I had 19 deliveries and 6 pickups today, and that was plenty.
How’s the LTL sector doing where you’re at?

I asked today if Cali was next week since they are shut down. They said bill count is way up. Running as normal they have freight!
Atlanta had no traffic at rush hour. Nashville either. Was actually kinda nice.MACK E-6, Texas_hwy_287, Bob Dobalina and 1 other person Thank this. -
Still hot and heavy. We did lose our show freight account---because they've totally shut down. This could affect hours.
i just bought a new truck. Not a suburban, but a different chevy truck. This was just before the shutdown madness. So, i could be HOSED in a few days?Last edited: Mar 23, 2020

Yesterday Ohio issued an order to shut down non-essential businesses effective tonight at midnight. As transportation, we are considered essential, but a lot of the freight we haul is for so-called non-essential businesses. We might be down to skeleton crews in no time.

So as you all know, the directive came down from the top today. Ohio went down and locked down some more things. While, as a food service guy I am considered essential. We have some areas of our business that are spiking, but other areas are down and over all business is down down down. Anyhow I got my letter from the legal department today, that I keep on the dash board of my car saying I'm in food transportation and need to be able to get through.
Will see what happens. We have extra guys and trucks. The trucks that are going out are heavy, but we've got 2 guys on some routes now. I've never had so many people in the passenger seat before. Heck today I was in the passenger seat my self.
11:59pm tonight "non-essential" business go down.double_r Thanks this. -
