Seriously doubt there is 1 person here of child bearing age during the Great Depression. If anyone alive then.
But our GDP is already screwed for the 2nd quarter. Done, irreversible
There is a point where the return will be worse than today.

Very well explanation of your situation. I hope you get well soon -
Small to medium size company. They do what they say, so you know what your going to get. Though I pushed them in forum, early on, for a more proactive approach. Their response to Covid-19 has been from it's just the flu to take it on a case by case basis. So I am a case that can't even get a test. They know I say that I'm sick, but I can't verify to them that I am or have THE virus. I think I'm on my own at this point. And they will wait for my saying that I'm ready to drive and am well. (Personally, I don't think they know what to do, especially as more and more drivers become infected, worse, keep driving infected possible infecting even more drivers/staff)Last edited: Mar 25, 2020

Have they given your truck to someone else ? If so, did they disinfect it? Just curious.
Linte_Loco Thanks this. -
It's in my possession at the farm, company is good about that. I was considering making the truck my recovery home, since a family member has stage 4 cancer. But upon further thought and planning, we decided to make the basement with shower, bathroom and bedroom my new home with strict rules for isolation. Luckily a large stairwell w/door separates the two.Dino soar, Wasted Thyme, Linte_Loco and 2 others Thank this. -
If so hope it's a mild case.
Self quarantine to protect others is the best you can do.mjd4277 Thanks this. -

Problem is, I know I've got something my immune system is fighting. No way to know what. Tests are for those already at the severe stages.
Headache and backache since Wednesday. Not terrified but aware. A sneeze on Thur. Unusual. I flatbed so I get more dirt and dust than say the reefer world.
Friday maybe a little intestinal problem. Hmm. I cook 95% of the food I eat, could have been my own fault. Then a scratch. Probably from wet hands and throwing and winding lots of straps for 3 days straight. It's infected. That's downright bizarre. I never get infected scratches or cuts. But it's red and hurts and probably gonna ooze if I don't keep dipping in the bleach water i rinse my dishes in and putting bandaids with triple antibiotic ointment on it...
I'm really quite healthy. Low BP low cholesterol, excellent BMI, quit smoking in 2017...
I've been tired, nay... exhausted, at 11 and 3.... just like when I have the flu. literally passed out for an hour in the afternoon for 2 days in a row.
I have not been able to get a thermometer. Today I was tested at a receiver. 97.4....
So now what isolation proponents? I thought I might be infected with covid19. Apparently not.
Are we all supposed to hide home? What if I have no home options?
I feel like many opinions are quite black and white. I don't think it's that easy.
I don't think my staying off duty when I'm not contagious and the load can make a successful delivery to a place where equally healthy people are trying to make products for now or for later, I don't see that as useful.Linte_Loco and Muskie Thank this.
