Flatbed loads out of Salt Lake City

I usually pick up a gaf load to get out of there. They can take u in either direction, east or west, depending where u wanna go or if u wanna get back to a certain lane. There is plenty of freight around those parts. U also have logan and brigham city and cedar city and provo that have freight.

 

Personally I stay away from the west coast. Seems to only be 2.00 short hauls to get back from Brokers. If you can make it to Gypsum, CO they have Sheetrock Shipments from NTG and Trinity Logistics that pay descent coming back towards the TN, NC, SC, OH and KY areas.

This of course was from a few years back when oil prices were higher. I was running loads of pipe out to the wells in Vernal, UT. So the 150 miles to Gypsum, CO was worth it.

Hope you have a truck that can pull. The west to east route you'll be fighting a head wind. West to east if the winds blowing and your freight is low on the deck. You'll gain some of it back. Remember you need chains from Sept to May to get into CO.
