5 axles are pretty much extinct in logging these days. Tandem w/tandem pole trailer is what I grew up with. Still though, tridrives and jeeps are a more "elegant" alternative to lift axles IMO.

Certainly cool that we were able to cut those massive trees down and make use of them with such limited technology. However it is also a perfect example of how irresponsible we have been as a species. We harvested them to the brink of extinction. There is what? Less than 1% of them today compared to 150 years ago?

UK is quite bad, their increase is very sharp as well, their measures against virus are very weak.
