Every town is making their own rules if you are picking up or delivering from a bussiness that has been ordered closed i imagine a small town or big town cop can make your life miserable just as they always have the ability to do.

 

I was in Montana, parked on the side of an offramp that has a huge open area designated for parking. You can park three trucks wide there and truckers a park there the entire time I’ve been in trucking and passed through there. A highway patrol officer came through the other night at 3 AM on his loudspeaker with a siren on demanding everyone move. It was darn near blizzard like conditions too.

I tried to get my phone video on in time so I can record this crap and make this highway patrol officer a social media sensation. Harassing truck drivers providing essential services. Harassing truck drivers providing essential services. At 3 AM in the morning. I’ve said it many times Truck drivers get no respect. Even in times like this. It’s too bad we can’t all stick together because we could send this country a loud and clear message right now. Big bad highway patrol officer would be crying get home because he could get fruit loops that is local Walmart for is screaming kids.

 

Meanwhile, they're letting criminals go free because they can't protect them from the virus.

It's coming from the top down, an it's not like their just throwing open the doors an letting prisons empty out.

So far only a few dealers in the carolinas are refusing cars. We were told we're essential. I'm on the way to the dallas area. The dealers said STI them even during business hours. Auctions near us aren't closed. All of the plants we go to regularly are open. So far nothings changed for us work load wise.

 

I spent all of last week running corn syrup to a big national-brand ketchup plant, a well-known brewery, and a popular carbonated soft drink plant, whose product has a red label with white script.......

I have an "Essential Worker" letter, too. Go figure.

Btw, the ketchup man assures me the warehouse is stuffed to bursting. We have a Strategic Stockpile of ketchup.....
