I certainly don’t need pickup freight to be busy. My barn does enough of that near there.

Well, not sure if it is finally coming down, but my start time keeps getting bumped later and later. Was rolling in OT the last few weeks and now I am bare 40. I shouldn't complain since I at least have a job.

I shouldn't complain cause I am trying to stock up on savings before they lay me off again eventually, but I find it ridiculous that we still have freight going into the golf cart factory. I even still see truckloads of finished golf carts coming out of there. Maybe those are just finished orders from before the circus started.

The forecast is that our economy will shrink by 25% or so. The economic outcome is worse than the virus.

Managed to pickup 750lbs. of brochures. Dock looks like a hockey rink. Never seen it so empty. 1 Outbound trailer only 1/4 filled. Usually most outbound double sets will be filled completely.

    WE SCREWED.

I was reading this article about how grocery chain HEB is handling this situation, and halfway down they talk about how they partnered with Labatt Food Service in Texas since their case count is way down and they have drivers, trucks, and groceries available.

That's a brilliant move for both companies and I'm surprised others haven't figured it out yet.
