Dr. David Price has these tips on how to prevent COVID-19 from spreading

I hate to say it but I still see guys walking out of the mens room without washing their hands. You would think people would atleast make an extra effort to wash up every chance they get?

 

Good thing the buffet are closed right now!!!

 

depends if they shake it. maybe cleaner then touching or standing in pis. js but i always wash my hands

And that right there is precisely why I very rarely eat off of a buffet most anyplace. Unless a person is sick with some exotic dangerous disease human body fluids are not biohazardous. That is not my reasoning. I don't like to eat off buffets that don't use sneeze guards. I sometime will sit and watch to see how often the business will change out all the utensils. Most better ones will do it at least 3 or 4 times per shift.

Now back to my 2nd sentence. Take a look at this PDF. Don't blow this danger off in the US. Almost any country where these diseases can be found is less than a 24 hour day away now with how people today travel. All it takes is for someone infected with one of these diseases to not use proper bathroom sanitation and then handle something that makes contact with you! Now you are exposed. If anything positive can come from this Covid-19 issue it should be just showing people how easy other country's problems can present right here in the good ole US of A. That is why I don't like to eat off buffets. I don't like to handle the knobs on things like ice cream machines, or for that matter even coffee makers in C-stores. However, I am forced to do so. After this Covid-19 thing, I may never even buy coffee in a C-store ever again.

To sum up my rant. I get really peeved at people who refuse to use proper personal hygiene.

 

Once you realize people do things for other reasons than they just didn't know, many behaviors are understandable. If "I didn't know" was the real reason behind so many things one public service announcement or billboard could cure the problem. Not everybody is the same, want the same thing, or act for the same reasons.
