What are the entitlements broken down for working and are they now running exempt from HOS?

There’s something going on there- I’m positive someone in the upper safety management has told them there’s no way everyone can pass otherwise they’re not doing their job-
After talking with one guy who went on I’m so glad I’m not working for them
Got a better job making 80,000 a year, different routes and no micro management

    T.Rucker and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Even though the HOS exemption is government approved mandate, a huge company like Walmart isn’t going to take that liability. God forbid a driver falls asleep at the wheel and kills a family in a minivan.
The company I haul freight for has loads that could fall under the exemption, but they and our insurer says the risk vs the reward isn’t worth it.

Walmart has a "City Driver" position posted on my linked in profile for the terminal closest to me. Is this a new thing?

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.
