Its going to require steaks and grilled meats every other day backed by roasted goods on alternate days with gravy and trimmings. If they complain that it's too expensive then I would tell them that I consider violence very cheap when others are in the same mind to get started with that.

They can either have a HAPPY jailhouse or a violent one on burnt bread and watery pudding that may or may not have been adulterated.

Data Q's are handled by the law enforcement department that issued the violation, not the courts.

It isn't part of the carrier's score from the inspection and they already said this, don't beat a dead horse...

Why couldn't it "communicate"? Just in a bad area with no cell service? Most of them use cheap cell service as satellite is too costly.

I would use DataQ it, if the unit was capable of it, and you were just in a bad area at the time.

It was ignorance on my part. I thought I knew how to send an eRODs on an Omnitracs device. It was somewhat my fault, except that according to the “required instructions by law” on how to send eRODS, it states that my Omnitracs IVG device is “considered a compliant secondary record of duty status.” The violation he gave me makes more sense for drivers using their personal smartphones as an ELD device.

“The SMS uses data from roadside inspections and crash reports from the last two years, and data from investigations to identify and intervene with motor carriers that pose the greatest risk to safety.”
