Also can't help thinking if BOTH DRIVERS HAD A CB RADIO, Willie and Quinn would not have been able to prevent the drivers from talking to each other.

I can't even imagine listening to someone telling me I can't talk to someone else. No even my wife.
But don't tell her that.
Maybe they thought the drivers might cheat on the test.Mattflat362, truckdriver31, Wasted Thyme and 1 other person Thank this. -

I would get nervous just parking in a Walmart to run in for an hour and get supplies when I was driving .
Never considered parking in one because didn't want to take the chance after reading the horror stories of trucks getting towed or booted.
Had a cream delivery to a little ice cream shop/ manufacture right on the Big Lake in Ludington Michigan .
Hit the Walmart to buy some needed stuff on my way out of this quant clean little town
Walmart had been so kind to have issued 10 spots designated to semi parking so I parked there with one other truck during the middle of the day .
As I walk around to the back of my trailer what do I see on the grass ?
Poop bags. Two of them and a gallon jug of piss not to mention other trucker trash. The rest of the parking lot is pristine.
No respect for others.roshea, homeskillet, 88228822 and 4 others Thank this. -
Hmm, another tool for the toolbox.

You have to be smart enough to stay out of these situations in first place. Truck stop or designated rest area, or shipper/receiver property with permission. That’s it. Anything else you’re taking your chances, especially in major cities. Best idea is to not even shut down in major cities if you can avoid it. Leave yourself enough time to get 50-60 miles away if possible. Have I always followed my own advice? No, I’ve gotten lucky a few times I’m sure...couple of incidents in Columbus come mind when I was too lazy to head east out 70 to the truck stops. Company drivers play fast and loose with this stuff because they know they ain’t paying the tow bill.
