I've driven past or through Chicago 3 times in the past few days.

It's almost looking like a zombie apocalypse. I80 from Iowa to Indiana almost nobody on the road at all except a few trucks mostly going 55-60 like they wanna get there tomorrow.

Drove straight through Chicago one time on 90 midday and traffic looked like I was driving through Madison Wisconsin on a Sunday morning.

Stay home people. It's a lot more peaceful without you.

Between unemployment, quarantine subsidies, my tax return, and credit deferments, I'd actually make MORE money at home.

Three weeks ago I hit a pothole that damaged my truck. Getting docked pay, then Friday (my first day back after quarantine) coming home from work I got a flat tire.

I have literally LOST more money going to work this month than I've earned.

    I'd rather have stayed home.

I'm just reducing my workload and restricting myself to either trailer shuttling or one of the milk plants nearby that doesn't require a whole lot of in or out from the truck. The Continental plant in Littlefield has you give them the paper work and samples before driving the tanker into the unloading bay and you just stay put.
The cheeseplant in Clovis seems to still be "out and about", not to mention playing favorites as usual with certain carriers. I just stay away from taking anything over there even if it means my pocketbook takes a pounding.

I have been and continue to work steady. Gone for 2 weeks, home for a day, all hell has broke out in Michigan. Leaving out tonight, Plan on taking a week or more, when I get back. Hopefully no one in my family, many of who are in high risk health care, and a few in Law enforcement jobs, or any of the few friends Still alive die from this crap.

Few more days and I’ll be home. No issues. As I’ve said I’m taking a month off anyway, so perfect timing :D

People can be productive and careful. Seen much respect in truck stops and even roads. People at high risk shouldn’t be out imo
