i hope such procedures will remain in future, drivers wasted half of their life due bad organization of lazy workers at load/unload places, customs office etc.

in italy they will not unload you if you came close to end of their work hours, like 45min before even they can unload you in this time, they will not talk on english even if they understand it etc. they are sort of ....such people.

some 11-12 years ago we used to transport marble a lot; blocks, unprocessed and processed slabs and objects.
As usually workers at warehouse were lazy and were not willing to help at all, even if they had to.

My brother was pissed off from their behaviour.....one day he managed to get signature of worker that he received load.
he had to unload some slabs he and due its strange shape it was bit unbalanced, he tie it with crane lifting straps started to lift it and it slide down and fall on ground.

well since then when our truck appear on their warehouse workers would hurry open sideboards, remove securing straps, tie crane straps, hold slabs to prevent any damage....

again some dangerous drugs are used in NL.

Actros is not suitable to become plow truck at all.
even skiploader is not really for it, especially since it is basically tractor not real rigid, but ok this can work somehow.

there is no crossmember on front end of frame, no real attaching point below frame and in general it is road optimized truck,

See how did they attached snowplow plate to it, with towing eyes.....at bottom it supports on aluminium front underride guard that weights 15kg

I can imagine it. In fact I’m happy to say I’ve been seeing it, IMHO.

I was just reading an article about the ocean shippers, and how the travel restrictions are preventing crew exchanges. Some of those boys are going to be at sea for a LONG time.....
