Hello fellow trailblazers. I am thinking of a change and I'm thinking of the great state of Texas. I can't decide which town to move to though. I don't want a big city anymore, so I am thinking of Wichita Falls or San Angelo. I have never been to San Angelo but I've read about it. And I kind of like Wichita Falls' location in relation to other states and different worlds.

Can any of you Texans here chime in? If you have other suggestions feel free to mention them. I like Rockwall and Denton also. Looking forward to some feedback.

    Neither.

Rockwall east of Dallas is just as big city as any.

IF I wanted to go to Texas there would not be too many places I would care to stay at myself. Ive spent enough years in and out of there to last a life time.

Rockwall and Denton are now the suburbs
Of the dallas/ ft worth area.
    It's all one big city.

You have to go past Denton and way past rockwall
To be out of the city traffic.
    I would go Witchita Falls.
San Angelo is to far off the beaten path for a truck driver.
You'll be limiting your options down there.

If I had to pick a spot in Texas its just has to have that Beef. None of that fancy plant lab food crap. If they don't know how to fix beef and taters with salad and ale, beer or whiskey I would not want it. Im kinda set in my ways.

If I were you I would spend some time checking out various towns on Google maps then visit the places that interest you.

For example, one of the main reasons I personally found Waxahachie to be interesting is that it has an HEB (there are no HEB's in DFW).

Abeline or better known as Dyess... is B1 Bomber country.

NOISY. You have been WARNED. There are NO noise laws there.

SCREEEEECHH.... THUNDER!!! as those #### things cavort in the sky like fighter jets on afterburners. Thats the sound of freedom. But your bed, table and everything will be shaking from that roar 24/7 in all weather.

The noise on the mike seems to be tamed by you tubes arithorgrams but here is one example...

Remember I cannot hear above 3500 hertz so if you are a audiophile you need to tame your own volume. Fair warning.

She's a beauty but why so long? She's as long as a regular commercial jet.
