Never heard of 9ns. I thought all preemission c12 were 2ks besides the bridge engine. What’s a 9ns

I did a lot of research on C12's when I was looking at a truck to pull a dump trailer. There's a lot of highway construction going on in Arkansas and most of it is anywhere from 10-70 miles one way from the quarry. What I found out from my research was, the C12 is an excellent engine for the proper application. Local trucking in a reasonably flat area is a proper application. It's fair at best on power, it's good on fuel economy, and very good on service life.

    What's wrong with the ECM?

If you want to uprate, you're wasting your time if you've got mechanical issues. Figure out if its running properly first before you waste money on a tune.

All I was getting at was tuning a sick engine is not going to make it run better.

    pushbroom Thanks this.

I understand that. I check everything from fuel lines to the intercooler and it’s piping.
