Yeah looks who’s talking, get a life. We’ve been hanging for days, I haven’t slept much, thinking about it all the time. Lol. I say we start setting odds, and taking bets.

Wow I didn't think the humor was that hard to see in my post !!
It wasn't too much time out of his family time to ask for help ,so I figured it wouldn't be to time consuming for a update or a quick yep its running and it was ______ fill in the blank since the OP asked for the help .
I guess the answer to his problem would never be a help to others looking to solve a similar problem on their truck in the future .
I offer my sincere apologies to you for causing you take your precious family time to remind me that I put my "options" to make myself feel important on here a billion times a day .
So now that I feel important and have my let my "option" be known I will be done for now .

I read this thread, and may have commented, I don't remember. I would like to know what the problem is/was and the fix. I have an older truck and even though mine is a different brand. Similar under the wrapper components.
    Knowledge is priceless.
Most important. I would like to hear the OP succeeded in the repair.

Ride and repair you have literally just described the problem I am dealing with right now. IHave a 2015 Prostar sitting at 623,009 miles with a cumming 450hp 10sd trans. I have power headlights, radio,cb. Everything works as it should in truck. Problem is when I turn ignition on nothing. No test reset, no starter clicking nothing. Truck has plenty of power and wants to crank, but just keep turning over and not cranking up. I check both inline fuses today replaced the 30amp have to wait to get to a five but the oldone wasn't blown. Any ideas on what I should try next.

Pouring outside now in the am ill get up and check ground wires to the frame. It has done this about 5 or 6 times over the last year.Did it even before I replaced batteries. Each time I got out and played with the 5 amp inline fuse and it fired right up.

I was told about a month ago while having an annual inspection that I would need an alternator soon could that be the problem. Mechanic told me this because the truck was only holding a about a 13.2 amp charge and fluctuated up and down at times depending on what i was running in truck.

I had the truck completely overhauled with a Cat gold kit, new clutch, cam, fan clutch, radiator recored, starter, PTO pump and some other things I’m sure I forgot.

    Now I’m broke...lol!!

It’s cranking, so I doubt alternator is the problem. No warning lights on dash, means no power to ecm. When it happened to me, it was just a bad ground. Start at the frame near the battery, frame near starter, any grounds you can find.
