Might not look bad but the paint is cracked everywhere and the dent was much worse before they attempted to fix it. It's an older truck so I'm not sure if they'll put a new one on it or not. I'm just looking around at prices to fix it myself

Well, let me tell ya', son ( unless you are over 65, I can say that), I think your initiative is great, not sure a Freightliner driver would care, BUT, bottom line, it's not your truck. I know, I was the same way, cleaning and buying chrome for company trucks, even Louisville Fords, but in the end, I bought my own trucks, because it was a losing battle. I say, leave it alone, and buy your cute little daughter something. Goes a lot farther than a used Pete fender, and the old lady might like it too. oops, sorry Kemosabi, that was for the OP
