That's is really neat you held on to this so long.. I'd be a waffling nightmare trying to spec a new rig.. I'm an after the fact kinda guy, only realizing what would be better when it too late..

Haha never pulled the trigger on it due to the uncertainty with the truckers strike.
Ended up buying a new one in '84.

I used to really want a 378 or 379, not saying I wouldn't take a Pete if the price/specs were right. But I'm starting to feel like everybody & their brothers got one..

It's nice to stand out from the pack. 4300/9300 binder, 4900 lowmax Star car, FLC shakers, & of course COE's of all kinds.. You know, something you don't see 100 a day going down the boulevard..

 

What, no 8 track radio?

 

$85k in 1983, that was an expensive Truck. How much was the IH?

 

If I remember right it was 77k.
