When I started in the world in trucking I had one suitcase and a pack of clothes for 7 days plus smokes and money. Thats it.
I can do that again and again and again as I have before. No biggie.
Now if you have built up a mansion and so on and hang on to it after its turned into a pile of sticks after a storm well... you havent done life right. Thats not important. Its bad yes but when you learn that a small home that is happy and easy fix is way better than that mansion then alls well.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

Funeral homes are calling around trying to rent reefers for 6000 a month each. Store about 70 dead give or take stacked 4 deep in -20 and reefer fuel delivered by local dealer every two days.
If the trucking company itself is exposed as a rotten edifice and brought down economically by the current covid19 emergency? Fine so be it. There will be other companies better run with more cash on hand that will take up the slack. When this is all over, we will be left with the core group of trucking companies that can do well. The rest would have been scattered by the storm.
Thats not so bad.bzinger, Rideandrepair, Western flyer and 1 other person Thank this. -
