Always always wear your Chower Choes in the Chower man.
And never used the truck stop towels and especially wouldn't right now.
I bought 25 hand towels and use them once than throw them in a plastic bag in the side box until laundry day so no wet smelly towels in the bunk.
Plenty of absorbent cloth for my 6 foot 225 -
naw just strap it to the side mirror and let it dry in the wind. lol
BigDog Trucker Thanks this. -
I got foot fungus once from a shower.
Once. In over 9 years out here.
And I never wear 'shower shoes' because it throws my balance way off. I would hurt myself.
And that once was not from a shower at a major chain that cleans things after every use.
It was from one of our terminals... Laredo, TX to point fingers.
So to this day I will not use the showers at a terminal, no matter how much I want/need it.
But these days I will be sticking to TA/Petro showers. They seem to do a better job at cleaning than most. -
There’s a small truck stop off of I 69 southwest of Bloomington IN exit 80 something? Coop Junction I believe. They have maybe 10 spots and 3 fuel lanes. The store had a chain around the doors but pumps were on if you use a card.
