I had a very strange cold/flu 4 weeks ago. It started with a very weak sore throat that lasted 3 days. It was very week and I thought would get worse but it never did. After third day it was gone. Day after that sore throat comes back with chest congestion. Felt like I was in the beginning stages of bronchitis. Right before it gets bad. Sore throat was a little worse but still weak. Day after it completely goes away. I was healed. Then the next day i wake up and chest congestion is back and I have a 102 degree fever. Chest congestion still felt weak but my coughs had a very strong taste. Fever was gone that night.
Chest congestion stayed around for another 4 days never changed in intensity. Remained weak. Eventually disappeared.
Very strange sickness. Usually if I start getting sick like that it gets worse as the days go on and then better.
But with this the intensity was always the same and would come and go completely the first few days.
I've never had a cold or flu like this in my life.
Of course I stayed home. I did the tele doc thing and he made quarantine myself. I never got tested for Covid19 due to lack of tests -

Lot of assumptions made in engineering, you'd be surprised. For instance, look at your dash. They assumed you'd only need 2 twelve volt jacks. Truck stops sells a lot of splitters. And inverters.Last edited: Apr 8, 2020

Guys it is ok to have different opinions. But let's try not to be Richard Craniums about it.
For one I know the numbers I quoted were high. I'm hoping they are wrong, AND, they very well could end up being wrong. It was just simple math based on mortality range anticipated based on current numbers posted by the CDC and anticipated rates of infections.
Why are there no people, or very few people at those test sites? Well probably because of those having mild symptoms are staying at home. Self isolating and letting themselves get over it. If they're not in dire straits (no not the band lol) or have loved ones to worry about. They're probably feeling it is safer to just do that.
We've actually tested in the US as of today over 2.1 Million people. They've stopped all non-essential surgeries at hospitals, so that is leading to them being empty looking. Those with COVID-19 that DO have to stay in the hospital and can't go home to self isolate are in the ICU wards. ICU wards have limited beds. So yeah you're not gonna see lines forming at hospitals.
The hoaxes that this is a made up event to take control real is tin foil hat stuff. You can't get the Dems/Repubs to agree on anything. But you suspect they are cooperating on taking over the "sheep" of the country. SMH
Also S Korea is already stating that those sick with one strain are now coming down with it a second strain, and those people are being impacted much harder than the first mild round they had. Not a lot of info on this as of yet, so might be slightly speculative.
But here is the take away everyone should have, no matter how big or little of a deal you feel this virus is. People you know, or see walking around taking that extra measure to protect themselves, even wearing the face masks. Might not be doing it cuz they are thinking it is the end of the world. They might, like myself, be doing it because they have a mother on chemo medicine with a heart issue, and a fiance with an auto-immune disease and COPD. So while influenza might not harm either of them. COVID-19 very well could be a death sentence for them. Those people might be doing it so they don't have to live with being the cause of death of someone they love. Because they brought it home.
